When her troubling PCOS symptoms persisted, she researched diet, lifestyle and exerecise regimes to control it naturally.  She is now happily symptom free and conceived her daughter naturally. Our guest today is Moon Cho, founder of Ying Yang Living, a website dedicated to teaching the principles of health and wellness through the Asian traditions.   I first found one of Moon's YouTube videos (on fermented foods) and was very impressed with the quality, and I was interested to learn more about Asain cooking.  It turned out Moon's website not only included cooking and nutrition, but also natural beauty tips, Feng Shui advice, exercise ideas, and lessons on spritual practice. I've been a practicing acupuncturist for 10 years, and it's great that Asian medicine has "arrived" in the U.S., but there is so much more available to us in the rich cultural traditions of Asia.  I'm excited to have Moon Cho on the show today to talk about her two foundations for health and happiness: spiritualty and nutrition.   Moon's website, youtube channel, twitter feed and facebook page.

Is there direction you'd like to go, or another way you'd like to be, but you just can't seem to get there? Our guest this week, Tim Gallagher of NLP of San Francisco, CA, will help us identify and move past the limiting beliefs that get us stuck in patterns, unable to reach what we truly want.  On last week's podcast we talked about tuning into your intution and listening to your heart with author of Heart Led Living, Sue Dumais.  But even once you've tuned into what your soul desires, executing that change can be trying.  All the fears and doubts emerge.  You may give up on your goal, or let it fade into a memory. Making lasting change in your health and life may take some new tools!  Tim Gallagher will teach us some of the tools and concepts of NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming) that have been successful for his clients.  He's treated: Negative self-talk Social anxiety Self-esteem issues Panic attacks PTSD Relationship/ communication issues Behavioral habits In my practice working with women, I find even 'very successful' women are secretly suffering from some of these issues, and feel alone and powerless in dealing with them.   Let's open up the toolbox today and find our power again!
